Yesterday, Bulkstream had the privilege of hosting lecturers and students from the University of Nairobi, JKUAT, and a wide range of TVETs from across the country.
The visit was part of an intensive training program organized by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH‘s International Power-to-X Hub (PtXHub) and Fertilizer Association of Kenya (FAK) designed to bridge theory with practice, giving learners firsthand exposure to the scale and complexity of modern port logistics and cargo operations.
As part of their learning journey, participants toured our fertilizer importation operations and explored how Bulkstream’s integrated services support the agricultural and industrial backbone of the region.
For many, it was their first encounter with the real-world processes behind cargo handling—an eye-opener into how logistics connects global supply chains to everyday essentials.
International Power-to-X Hub (PtXHub) is a centre for expertise and collaboration on green hydrogen, Power-to-X, and hard-to-abate value chains.
By immersing the next generation of professionals in live port operations, the program not only strengthens capacity in logistics but also highlights the critical role Bulkstream plays in fostering sustainable industry growth.
Kudos to the Bulkstream team for actualizing this visit within a short notice.
